What cool opportunity or project have I had since working at Intel?
I worked on design for Intel® CoreTM i7, and had the opportunity to work on circuits involved in dynamic power scaling. There were a lot of aspects to consider when doing this design, and I really like solving multidimensional problems.
What's the biggest misconception that I think people have about working at Intel?
That Intel is a big company that you will "get lost" in. Even though I am one of several hundred engineers on my team I definitely feel like I get to know people and get to be known myself.
How do I socialize at Intel?
I get involved in groups that interest me. Intel has many employee organizations. I go out with the Intel Oregon Hiking Club as much as possible. It really helped me meet people when I joined Intel and it's a great way to relax.
What do I do when I'm NOT at work?
I like being outside — camping, hiking, or gardening. I also like jazz music, cooking, reading and drawing.
What's the coolest website that I've discovered lately?
I really like instructables.com
What cool gadget would I like to buy?
I would like to purchase a robot to clean my house.
