Intel Poland, Intel's second largest Intel Architecture Group location in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, was named number one on the Hewitt Best Employers in Poland and in Central and Eastern Europe. May 2010
The Reputation Institute* ranked Intel as number 10 on their "World's Most Reputable Companies" list. A two-part study measured the reputations of the world's 600 largest companies in their home countries before a second study that also rated the world's most visible and valuable corporate brands, provided they had above average home country reputations. The list consists of 28 global companies that are well regarded at home as well as around the globe. Intel climbed over 100 spots from number 157. May 2010
Intel President and CEO Paul Otellini with Mexico President Felipe Calderon announced the company would invest 2,300 million pesos (US$177 million) over 3 years to expand Intel's Guadalajara Design Center (GDC). The investment will focus on increasing technology development activities, staffing and technology and education initiatives that support Calderon's National Digital Plan. Apr 2010
