Community/Environment Awards
 
The Points of Light Institute recognized Intel with a 2010 Corporate Engagement Award for Excellence for building strong and effective volunteer programs to improve the communities where we operate. This award is one of the oldest and most prestigious award programs honoring outstanding employee volunteer programs. June 2010
The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world's largest pre-college science competition, gave out over $175,000 in prizes to some of the world's brightest student entrepreneurs, innovators and scientists. Amy Chyao was awarded first place for her cutting-edge cancer treatment entry. May 2010
Intel Design Center – IDC 9 – received LEED Gold certification, one of the highest ratings for sustainable building construction. In addition to being Intel's first certified green facility, it is the first building in Israel to receive LEED Gold-level recognition. The building is set to open in Haifa, Israel in June. Apr 2010
Intel Science Talent Search 2010, a program of Society for Science & the Public, announced its top 10 winners in Washington, D.C. The top winner, Erika DeBenedictis, received $100,000 from the Intel Foundation for her project developing a software navigation system to help improve spacecraft travel through the solar system. Intel Malaysia won the Prime Minister's Corporate Social Responsibility Award for our environmental activities, as well as an honorable mention for our education and workplace practices. Mar 2010
Fast Company* published an article on the most addictive sounds on the world and named the Intel bong second, after a baby’s giggle. Feb 2010
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) named Intel the largest voluntary purchaser of green power in the US. Intel has new contracts in place to incorporate 2.5 megawatts worth of new solar power projects at eight U.S. locations, and has renewed and increased by 10 percent its purchase commitments for renewable energy credits (REC). Intel was ranked 209 on Fortune's* Global 500. The Fortune Global 500 is a ranking of the world's largest companies based on total revenue for the fiscal year. See the complete listing. July 2010
The Great Place to Work* Institute, has ranked Intel India third on this year's Best companies to work for list. This is the sixth consecutive year Intel has ranked in the Best Employers category. June 2010
The National Business Group on Health (NBGH) honored Intel as a winner of the platinum award for best employers for promoting health. Intel was one of six employers honored in the platinum category for establishing workplace well-being programs with measurable success and documented outcomes. June 2010
For the third year in a row, Intel was ranked number one on the top 50 companies to work for in Israel list by TheMarker* magazine. June 2010
Intel's corporate careers site, Jobs at Intel, was ranked number six on a list of best career opportunity websites, up from number 23 in 2009. The ranking is based on a study conducted by PotentialPark* and surveyed 2,457 U.S. students and recent graduates. June 2010
Intel Poland, Intel's second largest Intel Architecture Group location in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, was named number one on the Hewitt Best Employers in Poland and in Central and Eastern Europe. May 2010
The Financial Times'* released their FT500, an annual snapshot of the world's largest companies, ranked by market capitalization, which included Intel at number 40 on the global list. Intel ranked 21 on the US list. May 2010
The Reputation Institute* ranked Intel as number 10 on their "World's Most Reputable Companies" list. A two-part study measured the reputations of the world's 600 largest companies in their home countries before a second study that also rated the world's most visible and valuable corporate brands, provided they had above average home country reputations. The list consists of 28 global companies that are well regarded at home as well as around the globe. Intel climbed over 100 spots from number 157. May 2010
Intel was ranked 37 on Fortune.com's* 100 Top MBA Employers list, up from number 44, where Intel was ranked for the past three years. Research firm Universum* surveyed MBA students from the top 50 business schools nationwide to learn where they'd most like to work for this exclusive Fortune.com list. May 2010
This year's Barron's* 500 has Intel ranked at number 234, an increase of over 50 spots from last year. Barron's 500 is a ranking of the 500 largest publicly traded companies in North America, as measured by sales in the latest fiscal year. Top companies earned their ranking by working to generate solid sales growth and healthy returns on investment even amid the tough economy. May 2010
